“ALL the sessions offer a variance to ALL teachers in the Memphis area. I have been taught me more in the two years of my attendance to the conference than any other PD I have had in the last 20 years!!!!”

— 2023 Memphis Literacy Conference participant

“I love how the conference brings so many teachers together and it creates a community with teachers dedicated to learn literacy to help students. It really put me in the right mindset for the school year.”

— 2023 Memphis Literacy Conference participant

“I was able to collaborate with other educational leaders and teachers from different backgrounds and areas of expertise. There was much information to utilize inside and outside the classroom. In addition, it was a very safe space and organized event.”

“The Memphis Literacy Conference is a wonderful summer professional development opportunity in the critically important area of reading. I think this can benefit our school, the many teachers on our team and, of course, ultimately our students. As we begin to plan for summer learning, we will sign teachers up for this conference.”
